Denise Duvall has dedicated her career specializing in a wide range of services specifically designed to improve the lives of the underserved community.
For 14 years, she has utilized her extensive knowledge and understanding working with various municipalities managing policy and procedures for ADA Compliance, and DPSS Civil Rights, while conducting Internal audits and site Inspections.
She has a proven track record of successfully facilitating best practices, streamlining operations, and reducing costs while increasing departmental efficiency.
She has worked and collaborated with various city officials for the City of Los Angeles, Compton and Long Beach. While working in the Nonprofit sector, she partnered with multiple nonprofit organizations such as First Place for Youth, Crystal Stairs, Building Lives Ent., and the Lusaka Foundation.
It was through Lusaka Foundation, where Denise was very fortunate to meet and fundraise alongside her mentor, U.S. House of Representatives
Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
In 2015, her passion grew for children who had aged out of the foster care system, it was during this time that she successfully founded the Duvall Empowerment Foundation, where she continues to look for ways to expand her mission of providing Empowering Mentorship, housing and community outreach services.
Denise believes strongly in the powerful impact and value that the nonprofit sector brings to the community, and enjoys applying all of her talents to support the goals of the community, with professionalism and integrity.
Denise studied Law and obtained her Paralegal Certification at West Los Angeles College. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management at Biola University. Her goal is to obtain her Juris Doctor Law Degree from Loyola Law School, and vows to provide Pro Bono legal counsel to children and young adults living within the underserved community.
Her mission is to fight for those who are unable to fight for themselves.
